Updating a Customer/Job Address on an Existing Record

If you've spotted a mistake or a customer needs their information updated on an existing record.

Note: You must log in to the web portal to modify a customer or job address on an existing record.


Updating a customer's details

  1. Navigate to your "Customers" tab
    Click here or in the top navigation bar from any screen:

  2. Select the customer
    On the Customers page, search for and click on the customer you would like to modify:

  3. Edit the details
    Edit any fields you want changed and then press save:

  4. Select the record
    After saving, go to the customer's history to locate the record you want to update:

  5. Update the record
    On the right-hand side, click "Edit":

  6. Approve & preview
    Without making any changes, select Approve & Preview. This will update the record with their new details.

    A pop-up may appear asking if you'd like to change the issue date. In this case, select no.

Updating a Job Address

Updating a job address is done in the exact same way as you would update a customer's details.

  1. Navigate to the "Job Addresses" Section
    Click here or, in the top navigation bar, locate and click on "Job Addresses":

  2. Select the job address
    On the Job Address page, select the job address you would like to modify:

  3. Edit the details
    Edit the field you want changed and then press "Save":

  4. Select the record
    After saving, go to the job addresses' history and locate the record you want to update.

  5. Update the record
    On the right-hand side, click "Edit":

  6. Approve & preview
    Without making any changes, select Approve & Preview. This will update the record with the new job address.

    A pop-up may appear asking if you'd like to change the issue date. In this case, select no.
