Before you approve a gas safety certificate, you can now get a quick AI check of the data you've entered. It's there to catch the easy-to-miss stuff — a reading that's out of range, a mistyped value, a field that doesn't add up — before the certificate goes out to your customer.

Where to find it
When you reach the Customer's Signature screen at the end of the certificate flow, you'll see a Validate with AI button alongside Save and Approve. Tap it once you've filled everything in.
What happens next
Gas Engineer Software sends the certificate, appliance and inspection details to the AI for review. After a moment you'll get back:
A summary — whether the certificate looks good and how many issues were found.
Any issues — each one shows the field, the value you entered, a suggested correction where there is one, and a short reason it's been flagged. The field is highlighted on the form so you can see exactly what it's pointing at.
Passed checks — a list of the things that checked out fine, so you know what's been looked at.
If nothing needs attention, you'll get a confirmation and can carry straight on to approval.
Fixing flagged values
Tap Apply edits to accept the suggested corrections in one go — the values update on the form ready for you to review.
Tap Ignore to close the panel and leave everything as it is.
Either way, you stay in control. Nothing is changed on the certificate until you choose to apply it, and you always approve the certificate yourself.
A few things worth knowing
The check looks for likely data-entry slips (wrong units, missing decimals, transposed digits), readings outside the normal range for UK domestic appliances, and values that don't line up with each other.
It's a second pair of eyes, not a replacement for your judgement. You remain responsible for the accuracy of every certificate you issue — always sense-check any suggestion against what you actually found on site.
