In Gas Engineer Software, deleted jobs are stored in an archive so that they can be later recovered if necessary.
Log in to the web portal if you would like to follow along with these instructions.
Deleting or archiving a job
Click on "Jobs" on the top menu and navigate to either the 'Outstanding Jobs', 'Quotes', or 'Estimates' tabs:
Click on the job that you would like to delete:
On the right-side panel, click on "Delete". A confirmation pop-up will appear on screen:
Click "Yes" and the job will be archived.
Restoring an archived job
In this example, we'll restore the same job we deleted in the example above.
Click on "Jobs" from the top menu.
Navigate to the archived tab:
Click on the job you would like to restore.
Click on the "Restore" button on the right-side panel. A confirmation pop-up will appear:
Click "Yes" and your job will appear back in your active jobs lists.
