How to Edit the Job Status List

Learn how to create custom Job Statuses to add to the default list and personalise your workflow.

In Gas Engineer Software, jobs can be tagged with a status. The default job statuses are:

  • Completed

  • Follow-up needed

  • In Progress

  • Not Selected

  • To Be Invoiced

Adding a new job status

  1. Open the web portal.

  2. Click the settings icon in the top right corner.

  3. Go to the "Service Reminders and Email Templates" settings.

  4. Click on the "Edit" button under "Job Status". Click here for a shortcut

  5. Click "Add Job Status".

  6. Give your new job status a name and description.

  7. Click "Save".

Once saved, the job status can be selected on any job. You can edit or delete any custom job status that you have created.
