There are a couple of methods to turn off service reminders for a single customer - the quickest and easiest is to use the automatic reminder toggle.

  1. Log in to the web portal

  2. Select the "Customers" tag at the top of the screen

  3. Find and select the customer

  4. Find the "automatic reminders" toggle in the bottom left of the Customer view - ensure that "No" is selected

  5. Select "Save" in the bottom right corner.

Automatic email reminders to this customer will now be turned off. Unfortunately, we currently do not have a method to turn off automatic SMS reminders to a single customer.

Alternate method:

Prior to implementing the service reminder toggle, this was the only method to ensure that a single customer would not receive service reminders in GES. This method still functions without issue and can be user according to user preference:

Customers with Gas Appliances

  1. Find and select the customer's Job Address.

  2. Locate "Gas Service Due Date" within the job address details.

  3. Remove this date (it is recommended that you add this date into the "Notes" section)

Without a service due date, the software will now no longer send out a reminder to the customer.

Customers with Oil Appliances

  1. Find and select the customer's Job Address.

  2. Locate and click the "Oil Appliances" button underneath the job address details.

  3. Click on the appliance itself

  4. Remove the date from the oil appliance/s (it is recommended that you add this date into the "Notes" section)

Without a service due date, the software will now no longer send out a reminder to the customer.
