How to Create an Estimate, Quote & Invoice

Here you will learn the fundamentals of how to create Estimates, Quotes & Invoices on the App & Web portal.

From the Mobile App:

Creating Quote/Estimate

Step 1 - From the main menu, tap on 'New Estimate, Quote or Invoice' and select Quote or Estimate

Step 2 - Select an existing job from the list or create a new one by tapping 'Add New Job'

Step 2a - If you are adding a new job you will need to add the information on the job screen before proceeding

Step 3 - Here you can add line items by tapping the + symbol in the top right of the screen

Step 4 - Once you are happy with your quote/estimate, you can approve and email it to your customer

Invoicing

If you created a quote/estimate you can convert it to an invoice by opening the record via the 'Existing Records' menu and then tapping on "Convert to Invoice". This will pull all the information over to the invoice. Speeding up the process!

To create a new invoice from scratch:

Step 1 - From the main menu, tap 'New Estimate, Quote or Invoice' and select Invoice

Step 2 - Select an existing job from the list or create a new one by tapping 'Add New Job'

Step 3 - Here you can add line items by tapping the + symbol in the top right of the screen

Step 4 - Once you are happy with your invoice, you can approve and email it to your customer

From the web portal:

Creating Quote/Estimate

Step 1 - Log in to the web portal and click the "Create new" tab

​Step 2 - At the bottom of the page click Estimate or Quote

Step 3 - Select whether it is a new job or an existing job

Step 3a - If it's a new job, you'll need to add some basic job details before proceeding

Step 4 - Once you're on the estimate/quote page, you can add some line items by clicking on the empty line

Step 5 - When you're happy with your quote/estimate you can approve and email this to your customer

Invoicing
