On the web portal
There are several ways to create a job address on our website. Feel free to use whichever method is most convenient for you.
Method 1: From the "Create New +" button
Click on the "Create New +" button in the top-right
Select Job Address from the pop up
Find the customer responsible for that job address. If they are a new customer, you can add one here.
Fill in job address details, and click "Save".
Method 2: From the Job Address tab
Click on the "Job Addresses" tab from the top navigation menu
Click the "Add Job Address" Button
Find the customer responsible for the job address, add the details, and click "Save".
Method 3: Creating a job address from a customer profile
Click on the "Customers" tab from the top navigation menu.
Search for and select the customer by clicking on their name
Click "Add Job Address +" on the right-side panel:
Fill in the job address details and click "Save."
On the mobile apps
There are two ways to create a job address on the Gas Engineer Software app.
Method 1: from the job address list
On the home screen, tap on "Job Addresses."
Tap the "+ Add New Job Address" button at the bottom:
Select the customer you would like to add a job address for.
Fill in the job address details and click "Save."
Method 2: From a customer's profile
On the home screen, tap on "Customers."
Tap on the customer you would like to add a job address for.
Scroll to the bottom and select "Job Addresses"
Tap on "+ Add New Job Address" at the bottom
Enter the required information for the job address and tap "Save."
Minimum Requirements
When adding a new job address, the minimum required information is a street name.
Tips:
Be sure to add a service due date to trigger the system to send reminders.
When a service is carried out, the software will update this date automatically.
Appliance data is stored with the job address, rather than the customer.
