What Are Email Statuses?

When you send an email from Gas Engineer Software, you'll see a status next to each email on the history tab. This status tells you what's happened with your email — whether it's been sent, delivered, opened, or if something went wrong.

Email statuses are available on the Pro plan (including free trials).

Where Can I See Email Statuses?

You'll find email statuses on the history tab of the following pages:

  1. Any Customer page

  2. Any Job Address page

  3. Any Job page

Each email will have a small pill tag next to it showing its current status.

What Does Each Status Mean?

Draft — The email has been created, but hasn't been sent yet.

Sent — The email has been sent from your account but hasn't yet reached the recipient's inbox.

Delivered — The email has successfully reached the recipient's inbox.

Opened — The recipient has opened the email. Please note that some email servers have privacy restrictions that prevent open tracking from working. In these cases, the status will stay on Delivered even if the recipient has opened the email.

Failed — There was an issue and the email was not sent. This could be due to an invalid email address or a technical problem. If you see this status, try resending the email or checking the recipient's email address is correct.
