IMPORTANT: Before Uninstalling the App
Make sure you have synced your app and confirmed that all the latest information is saved. Check the web portal to verify that everything is up to date. Uninstalling the app without verifying this can be risky!
Please contact Support first if you are unsure about your data status, as uninstalling the app could result in data loss. This step is crucial to avoid any issues, especially if you have unsynced data.
In some cases, reinstalling the app is the quickest and easiest way to resolve issues, but DO NOT uninstall until you are sure your data is safely synced!
iOS:
Tap and hold down the GES app icon until a pop up menu appears.
Tap "Remove App" to delete the app and its data permanently.
Go to the App Store, re-download the app, sign in, and allow it to sync.
Android:
Reinstalling isn’t often necessary on Android devices. Device settings can vary, but generally:
In your device’s "App" settings, find Gas Engineer Software and tap on it.
Tap on "Storage & Cache" (or similar).
Tap "Clear Storage."
Log back into Gas Engineer Software and sync.
